A former 1st round pick (37th overall) in the 2003 MLB Amateur Draft of the Seattle Mariners, Adam Jones was the key prospect that the Baltimore Orioles acquired in the 2007 off season trade of Orioles' ace Eric Bedard. Jones, a 6' 2" outfielder who bats right-handed, tore up the minors last year with 25 homers and a .314 batting average.
